Another superb photography meet-up with Georgios to work through getting the most from macro photography. The day was sunny, but freezing cold with thick snow - we were able to make use of the snow and ice crystals to get some great shots! Yay! Really looking forward to the next events.

It was a good walk around Durham with a knowledgeable tutor who's clearly enthusiastic about architecture photography, and I learned several things, including one especially good tip. I'd happily join another of Jake's classes.

We were able to explore the best options for different light, close up pictures, composition and much more. I left feeling inspired and motivated to do more with my camera. PHOTOGRAPHERS
    Nick Small
Nick believes it 2019s important to listen and collaborate closely with fellow photographers when working together. In doing this he can gain an understanding of an individuals skill and what techniques they could use to build upon existing knowledge to illustrate their photographic style either in an environment, event or just for personal expression . He feels communication through the image shows the feel and expression of the creative photographer.
Having initially tutored creative design in the education sector for over twelve years Nick found the calling to return fully to his passion 2013 photography. Exhibiting his work in restaurants, hotels, through printed media and curated exhibitions as well as working with live client's, he felt the calling to return to the North of England which strengthened his creative goals . After eight years it 2019s still there and always growing. With his co-photographers he likes to move forward to find fresh visual perspectives and sees photographic work as a joint venture to gain the appropriate solution for all.
As he says... 2018walk with me and create 2019.

A warm, very sunny day and a busy Durham Market so literally no where to step back or forward so the only option was look up or down. Looking up the horse was looking at me as much as 'don't take my photograph' but with the sharp shadows from the overhead sun the shot seemed to show power and strength. With the monochrome it just felt it became stronger especially without the bright blue of the sky behind. A bold war horse indeed

So this is Bonnie, and these are the words of her owner when I asked for her story."Well she is a Scottie/Westie cross, got her when she was four months old, last of the litter I undersand. She actually shares the same birthday as my son. She will be 8 coming up. Saw her on Facebook three month after Snowy (previous pet dog) died. Wasn't going to get another pet but it was her eyes. They were so Bonnie. Hence her name. "
